Soft Cell
Marc Almond and Dave Ball are true pioneers of synth-pop, and the first successful UK electro duo. Debut album Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret featured one of the biggest hit singles of all time, Tainted Love, which reached No. 1 in 17 countries. The biggest-selling single in the UK in 1981, it was followed by the classics Bedsitter, Say Hello, Wave Goodbye plus many other hits.
Working with renegade, their recent reunion in 2018 included a sold out show at London’s O2 Arena.
A brand new album is set for release on BMG in late 2021.
The Grid
This seminal electronic dance act brought together Dave Ball and Richard Norris at the dawn of the 1990s dance music explosion.
With a string of hit singles plus six albums, their million selling single Swamp Thing reached No. 3 in the UK, and has been used extensively in films, ads and syncs since release.
The Grid are also known for remixes including David Bowie, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, The B-52s; co-writing with the likes of Kylie Minogue; producing Billie Ray Martin’s classic Your Loving Arms.
The Grid are currently working on a brand new album.
Dave Ball
Electronic musician Ball founded Soft Cell (with Marc Almond) and The Grid (with Richard Norris).
A wide variety of writing, producing and remix projects over the last four decades, including his artist album In Strict Tempo, Ball has worked with a wide variety of artists including Psychic TV/Genesis P-Orridge, The Virgin Prunes, and of course Marc Almond on solo projects.
He published his autobiography ‘Electronic Boy’ through Omnibus in 2020.
Philip Larsen
Songwriter, producer, remixer and Grammy award winner (Best Dance Recording for Kylie Minogue's Come Into My World), Philip Larsen has worked with some of the biggest worldwide names in pop and dance music over the last two decades, including Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Moby, Emeli Sandé, Ellie Goulding, Nicole Scherzinger, Britney Spears, Swedish House Mafia and over 200 others!
Well known for his electro-based work with pioneering acts Soft Cell, OMD, Human League and The B-52’s, Philip also co-wrote and produced Erasure frontman Andy Bell’s debut album Electric Blue, and produced Moby’s first ever No. 1 single Slipping Away with French superstar Mylene Farmer.
Philip also performs live with xPropaganda (Claudia Brücken and Susanne Freytag) and is currently co-producing a new album for Soft Cell, alongside a number of other projects.
